Abstract

Today on the market there is a variety of GIS technology and a great number of systems in usage but nevertheless these commercial systems represent extended functional possibilities, system configurations, data structures performance characteristics and costs. Because of that it is important for organizations to have methodology which will help them to determine if the benefits from GIS technology adoption are greater than costs, and if they are, to decide which system to adopt.
