GIS application for the natural conditions evaluation of Ražanj municipality for agriculture purposes

Abstract

In this paper is presented an example of quantitative evaluation of natural conditions for the agriculture purposes on the territory of Ražanj municipality. With assistance of GIS application, are analyzed soil attributes of municipality territory, angles of slopes, expositions of relief and hypsometric attributes. The final result of evaluation is synthesis map of capabilities for the agriculture purpose. As eliminatory factor in this analyses are observed areas under forest vegetation.
